Allison Newman

Allison Newman

Dr. Allison Newman is an independent licensed marriage and family therapist (IMFT) and received her doctorate degree in psychology. She has received pre and postdoctoral intensive training at the University of Rochester Medical Center in Integrated Care and Medical Family Therapy. Her focus is on empowering people to create healthy relationships with self and others, and to help people develop better coping, life management and problem-solving skills. On a personal note, Dr. Newman is happily married to her husband Tom, both are longtime residents of central Ohio. They live on a horse farm with three equine therapy partners, two Dalmatians and a menagerie of nearby wildlife. Dr. Newman has served on the board of directors for several local mental health agencies and currently serves on the board of an equine rescue and adoption center in Lexington.

Kelli Skaggs

Kelli Skaggs

Kelli Skaggs is a licensed independent supervising social worker that holds a master’s degree from The Ohio State University. Whether you are new to therapy or you have explored it in the past, she strives to meet you where you are and help get you where you want to be. She has over ten years of experience working in holistic mental health with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, and mood concerns related to life challenges. Kelli specializes in working with adults with ADHD and enjoys helping improve executive functioning. Kelli is also skilled and extensively trained in helping clients work through anxiety, trauma, gender identity, bipolar disorder, borderline personality disorder, and OCD. Kelli is here for her patients and wants to help you make changes in your life!

Tamryn van der Walt

Tamryn van der Walt

Tamryn Van Der Walt is a counselor who holds a master’s degree in social work and is licensed in the state of Ohio. She obtained her degrees from Ohio University in Athens, where she grew up. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in a variety of clinical contexts. Tamryn loves to work with her patients, helping them navigate the obstacles, challenges, and trials life brings, utilizing a cognitive behavioral therapy framework. Tamryn also works as a clinical medical social worker in a hospital setting, helping individuals and families navigate through health crises. Tamryn would love to help you with your life transition or challenges you are facing!

Sarah Towning

Sarah Towning

Sarah Towning is a counselor and holds two master’s degrees from Case Western Reserve University, one in social administration and one in social work. In addition, she served our country as a Combat Medic and Medical Section Sergeant. Sarah is trained in trauma informed yoga. She is also certified in health education. Sarah works with clients ages 13 and up including crisis intervention, trauma, substance use, dual diagnosis, and domestic violence. She works with first responders, veterans, and active military. She also works with couples who experience legal involvement. Sarah views her clients as experts, placing herself in a learning role, allowing them to guide the therapy in a true co-working environment. Her clients describe her as creative, supportive, insightful, honest, flexible, empowering, and empathetic.

Marisol Sedore

Marisol Sedore

Marisol Sedore is a clinical licensed social worker and holds a master’s degree in social work from the University of Southern California.  In addition to English, Marisol speaks Spanish.  Marisol has many years of experience working with diverse populations that include refugees, survivors of torture, individuals experiencing addiction and substance abuse issues.  She has worked with children, adults, families, and the elderly.  She enjoys using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) framework to empower her patients to overcome adversities and reach their goals.  Marisol is passionate about promoting overall physical, emotional, social, environmental, financial and spiritual wellness.  Marisol wants to work together with you to help you reach your goals!  Trabajando juntos para lograr las metas!

Kayla Stemmer

Kayla Stemmer

Kayla holds a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and recently graduated in 2022. Working in community mental health has provided Kayla with extensive experience working with trauma up close and personally. She is also training to become an intuitive eating certified clinician and will specialize in working with clients who struggle with eating disorders. Kayla appreciates working within a team that values their clients’ overall well-being and practices therapy very intentionally. She believes that therapy should be an individualized experience based on the client’s diagnosis, personality, history, and goals. Kayla’s goal is for her clients to leave their sessions feeling heard, valued, and like a collaborator in their therapy. Kayla has extensive experience in working with LGBTQ+ clients, gender identity, gender affirming care, and trauma.

Margo is a therapist that holds a master’s degree in social work from Ohio State University. Margo views therapy as a collaborative and thought-provoking process, in which she will support and guide your journey of self-discovery and growth. As your therapist, she will tailor her approach depending on your needs. It is her commitment to offer you a safe space without judgement and provide an empathetic ear. Each person is unique which means that the approach should be unique to you. Margo’s goal is to help you understand behavior patterns which will lead to a better understanding of oneself. Margo specializes in treating anxiety, depression, adult ADHD, self-esteem issues, body image issues, gender and sexual identity issues, and life transitions.

Joshua Adams is a clinical licensed social worker who earned his master’s degree from The Ohio State University.  He believes therapy is a journey toward healing and meaningful change. As difficult as your path may be, Joshua can guide you to forage new insights, perspectives, and solutions for your growth and well-being. Joshua is also a writer and editor who believes creativity is a natural tool for self-discovery and healing. He has worked with veterans and other populations to help them cope with trauma and challenges by using creative writing.  With a strengths-based and narrative approach, he believes that you have the power to edit your perspectives to reframe how you handle past, present, and future challenges. His practice is also grounded in spirituality, as he believes strong faith provides a sense of purpose and direction toward becoming your best self.

Rachel Maloney, an experienced clinical licensed social worker with a master's degree from The Ohio State University, specializes in working with children, adolescents, and families. She applies cognitive behavioral therapy within a strengths-based framework to guide clients toward healing and reaching their full potential. Rachel's focus is on helping individuals explore their capabilities and addressing various mental health concerns, including sexual addiction, trauma, family issues, and interpersonal challenges. For those who seek it, she incorporates faith into her counseling, enhancing overall client success.

Autumn earned a master’s degree in social work with a specialization in mental health and substance misuse at The Ohio State University. She is a compassionate and dedicated professional who has dedicated her life to helping individuals struggling with mental health. Autumn has a profound focus on evidence-based practice and a passion for addressing gender-affirming care, trauma, women’s issues, and personality disorders.  Autumn actively seeks to create a safe and inclusive space for individuals from all walks of life. Her comprehensive understanding allows her to offer tailored and effective therapeutic interventions to her clients. Autumn is known for her empathetic approach, creating a supportive environment that encourages personal growth and healing.  Autumn utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach (CBT) and Behavioral Activation (BA). Jennifer Scholl

Jennifer is a licensed independent social worker (LISW), and holds a master’s degree in social work from The Ohio State University. She has worked as a therapist in psychiatric crisis facilities and inpatient hospitals and has experience working with a wide range of mental illnesses, addictions, and life stressors. Jennifer also works in community mental health, as the leader of a team serving adults with mental health and addiction needs. She enjoys working with individuals, families, and couples, utilizing a wide variety of treatment modalities, including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy (SFT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), and psychoeducation.  She enjoys helping her clients to achieve their goals, meet their potential, and overcome their challenges. Her goal as a therapist is to make sure that her clients feel understood, supported, and empowered. Jennifer serves adults, age 18 and over.

Ariel is a skilled counselor providing individual therapy to adults wanting to focus on change and growth in their lives! Ariel uses a collaborative approach to help her clients find balance and joy. Ariel holds a masters degree from the University of Akron and is licensed in the State of Ohio to practice as a social worker. She has speciality training in addiction and substance abuse and has gained experience in both inpatient and outpatient mental health settings. From a young age, Jill's unwavering passion for aiding people has been the driving force behind her educational and career choices. Her extensive background spans both the public and private sectors, encompassing law, corporate business, small business ownership, and social work. Inspired by the positive effects of counseling she witnessed through friends and family, she ventured into the field herself. Jill adopts a trauma-informed methodology, having served a diverse clientele, including displaced individuals, veterans, and those facing addiction and abuse in high-stress environments. She's a compassionate and empathetic listener, using cognitive behavioral and solution-focused approaches to guide clients through life transitions and various challenges. Licensed in Ohio, she holds a master's degree in social work from Columbia University.

Kayla Gardener

Kayla Gardner, LPC, ATR-BC, EMDR, is a licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Art Therapist, and EMDR Trained therapist. Holding a BA from The Ohio State University and an MA in Art Therapy emphasizing counseling from Saint Mary-of-the Woods College in IN, Kayla is committed to holistic healing. Actively engaged with the American Art Therapy Association, Kayla serves as an adjunctive therapist at the state psychiatric hospital. Specializing in children, adolescents, and adults, Kayla addresses a range of needs including depression, anxiety, grief, life stressors, and trauma. Grounded in trauma-informed care, Kayla utilizes diverse expressive mediums such as visual arts, writing, and play to facilitate emotional processing.

Nisrine Rinaldi

Nisrine Rinaldi

Nissa, a trauma-informed Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified Integrative Mental Health Professional (CIMPHP), brings 9 years of diverse experience across school, non-profit, and private practice settings. With a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from Yorkville University, Canada, she employs an integrative approach to empower clients towards their goals. Trained in EMDR, CBT, Polyvagual Theory, and more, Nissa specializes in treating depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and personality disorders across various age groups, including couples. She emphasizes the significance of establishing a safe and compassionate therapeutic bond for successful healing journeys. Notably, Nissa offers therapy in English, French, and Arabic.
